Would stay again Read to the end.
The not so good parts. Only the freight elevator was working during our visit, but, it got us where we were going. The restrooms in the lobby started to breakdown during our visit and we had no room servicing during our time. Could not call the desk, the phone did not work.
Now, the good.
We were a group of around 65 for a convention, there was also a couple of young sports teams staying as well.
The staff were delightful and kind, the breakfast buffet was good, many options and the people kept tables cleared as guests would finish.
The meals at the conventions were good as well. I believe some of it was from the adjoining steakhouse, was all good.
The hotel was a good location, the rooms were typical hotel rooms, bed was comfortable enough and quiet enough for us.
There seems to be a needed renovation taking place from the top floor down.
We decided it was a good enough hotel, despite the few hiccups and would totally stay again🙂

Feels Like Home! I originally selected this Hampton Inn last year due to its location to a wide variety of amenities and to the senior community where my stepmother lives. On this stay, I was impressed with the thoughtfulnss shown by the management when I discovered that I was booked into the same room I had last year. Thank you! Clean, comfortable, quiet, and convenient on the first floor. Breakfast was delicious and varied from morning to morning. Staff was friendly and accomodating! I am already looking forward to next year's stay!

Overnight trip to KC Nice place. Older but very clean. Nice location. Only dislike was the creamer/sugar packets got the in room Kuerings did not have stir sticks in them. Kind of hard to add creamer/sugar with nothing to stir it with. Never had that problem anywhere else. Stir sticks have always been included in the packets.

Small vanity space Room was fine except the vanity was small. Often a good room will allow for some morning prep at a mirror over a desk or dresser with an outlet for a hair dryer or razor. This room had only a full length mirror with no outlet and no dresser or desk near by.

Wonderul! The staff was amazing from the time we got there. Rooms and lobby was very clean and inviting. We were there for the Big 12 Women's Tournament and they were prepared and ready for the large breakfast crowds.

Fantastic Vallerie and staff were amazing. Hidden gem imo. Close to t mobile and great local spots.

Sweet Shower The hot water in my shower was just right. It was so wonderful, that I didn't want to get out of it.

My go to for concerts at T-Mobile Center This is the second time I've stayed here after a concert at T-Mobile Center. Distance to center and restaurants is great, very clean, quiet, love the set up of the rooms, good breakfast, great price, liked the Dove products in the bathroom. Will definitely be back!

Satisfied Rooms clean, location amazing if attending an event at the T-Mobile Center. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast in the morning and hot cookies at check-in.

Chilled and hassel free Great experience little issue with hot water but was fixed after a couple of hours. Was a reward night stay attended the Symphony. The Receptionist was great and kind and fast on the stairs. Haha

Excellence in every area Every detail was perfect. From calling to confirm the stay, check in, and check out, it was super easy and fast. There were more amenities than I even needed. Breakfast was delicious, the room was clean, staff was helpful. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and pillows as well as the light blocking shade that was a way better design than any I've seen. The decor was beautiful, and the little extras such as water and a Keurig in the room were much appreciated. The grab and go breakfast was a nice touch, although I enjoyed eating in the dining area. Definitely will stay here again!

Great place to Stay This was our second trip to KC, and stated here due to its great location to the Convention Center. Room was very nice, clean, and service was outstanding.

A new beginning! Home away from home. Did you know Homewood Suites has used a duck as a character/mascot in some marketing, not as its official logo, because the duck neatly symbolizes comfort, calm, and “settling in”—which is the heart of the brand. Keep up the good work.

Lovely location well worth the stay Loved this location! The shower/tub was configured to remove fear of falling, the tub was sufficiently coated, the grab bar was well placed the shower head was fully operational. Additionally the staff did a fantastic job and the place was well cared for. We won't hesitate to stay here again.

Great location, and good value My second time staying here. Great location and reasonable price. Very nicely updated rooms. Nice amenities. OK breakfast. Great staff, although the breakfast lady that sang to us last time doesn't still work there. The only bizarre thing that I didn't go back inside to ask is whether they know the Chiefs flag is upside down. It's perfectly understandable to fly it upside down after this wretched season, but it took a minute to figure out why it looked so weird.

The hotel was nice, but… The hotel itself was very nice, staff pleasant. We are senior citizens, not handicapped, but seniors. We need more than one chair in the room. I also didn’t realize there wasn’t a restaurant on the premises when I made our reservation.
Free breakfast was nice, the total bill reasonable, though $4 for iced tea was a little high.

Diamond Member Experience I like everything at this Hampton Inn but the Comforter and Top of Bed sheets. They come off too easily during the night, end up wadded up on the bed. Hard to explain. Also the TV remote is nice but not intuitive. You cannot access "guide" when you press the button. You end up having to scroll through 200 channels to find the one you want.

Business Trip Nice gym and friendly service all around. Rooms were comfortable and clean well stocked with essentials.

Great experience Staff was friendly and check-in was quick. Rooms are clean. Only compliant would be breakfast food (eggs, sausage and gravy) was not hot.

Great location for downtown hotel This hotel is within easy driving distance of the Kauffman Center, where I saw a Christmas concert. I really liked the room--clean, very quiet, with a nice little nook for the desk, where I did a little work. I thought the free breakfast was decent, and the space downstairs was nice. Coffee and hot water available anytime, and people obviously liked hanging out there. Very nice service from all the staff.

Recommend Very enjoyable, comfortable one night stay here. Layout & amenities perfect. Night light in bathroom very helpful. Staff very pleasant. Ho-hum on the egg patties & gooey thick oatmeal for breakfast. Everything else was good. Hampton Inns are our favorite place to stay for a moderate price & consistently good experience.

The room was fine It seemed like more paperwork to check in this time. I was questioned about my need for a handicap accessible room as well. I always get one due to my severe arthritis & needing grab bars.

Great 2nd stay at Hotel Lotus We stayed at Hotel Lotus last night following a Dr's appt at KU. The room was clean and comfortable if a little worn-looking. The mattress was a little spring-y. I was able to sleep on it still but woke up a little stiff. It was quiet and felt safe. The front desk staff were nice. They had a complimentary breakfast but I didn't eat it so I can't comment on it. I will stay here again.

Quiet, comfortable rooms. Very clean and comfortable, with helpful staff. They let me check in early. Good breakfast. Perfect location. I highly recommend!
