Homewood Suites by Hilton Kansas City - Overland Park

Vacation The front desk service was great. Rooms clean and big. Beds were comfortable. I stayed with my daughters and it was a great room. It’s also in a nice part of Overland Park. We are also Hilton honors so we stay at a lot of hiltons. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Very nice! Always love homewood:) I really liked the rooms, they felt very clean. Also, the staff were friendly and personable! The building itself was also very clean, and the interior was very nice to look at. Along with that, I actually had a good nights rest. Normally with pull-out couches, I don’t sleep well, but this one was good.

I enjoyed my stay and will go back in the near future. The room was spacious and clean. Carpets are clean; bathroom water takes time to drain. Although it’s a public holiday; breakfast was served up to 9am instead of 10am, so we missed it. Nevertheless, beds were clean and we enjoyed. This is definitely gonna be my all time hotel.

Needed help and he had all the answers!! The front desk was the friendliest EVER!! Edison was SO HELPFUL and FRIENDLY!! Love him! I came in and my room wasn’t ready yet, but he helped me on the business center experience. He was so kind to help me understand how the reservations worked, it was a blessing!

Came for five days… decided to cancel a stay elsewhere and stay three weeks! I started my stay here because I was at odds with a cat where I was house-sitting! I had planned to stay while a friend was away, then had a reservation at a nice new “other” chain. I could not take nonstop hissing. So I decided to cash in some Hilton points. The Homewood had exceptional reviews even though it wasn’t brand new. So I booked five nights on points. When I arrived, Jana saw me flustered, having hastily packed. I must have looked a sight! She asked if I needed help. I declined. In my room, the peace and quiet, the beautiful space, and the lack of hissing was lovely. But also, the kitchen was new and shiny, the bed was cozy. I wanted to stay. Alas! They were booked for some of the days of the rest of the month. Dangit! I persisted! By the next day I found availability. Since this was a full one-bedroom suite the price was a bit higher (but not much) than the single room I had booked. But I booked five more nights on points, then two more weeks with cash. Then I canceled the “new” hotel. It was a slightly different room type, but just as nice. And between Jana and Edison, they worked with me to ensure that the move was smooth. They also helped me when I was late for a meeting and had a bit of a glitch that was no fault of theirs and had to move when I changed rooms. Edison even provided an upgrade. I am Gold, but was absolutely not expecting that. The service is stellar here. I had no plans initially to stay here, and feel so fortunate that I happened to find it. I had considered letting my Gold status lapse this year because I have status at five hotel groups (I live in hotels full time!) and felt I should focus more. I stayed in Hiltons the least. I am serious when I say this experience has made me reconsider. Some reviews may say the hotel is older. Yes. That means the walls are thicker. The air conditioning and heat work better. And the rooms are larger. New doesn’t mean better. Sometimes new means lots of USB plus (they have those here too) but thin walls and cramped spaces. I love this hotel. I also love that the people who work here care. From Jana and Edison, to Tiana overnight, to the awesome housekeeping staff who works so hard, Hilton may just have won me back after all. Maybe I should thank that darn cat. (But I probably won’t because that hissing )

Excellent Homewood Suites! We love staying at this Homewood Suites. We stay in many, and this is one of our two favorites. Everyone is so friendly, we have an excellent experience every time. Our rooms are always exceptionally clean and we appreciate the feeling that it is brand new. For those who love breakfast this Hilton has the best one of all. Thank you for the continued hospitality, we appreciate you all!

Great value for families Hotel is great for families. We stayed a two bedroom suit. Everyone slept well, only thing that it can be improved is the quality of the breakfast. But then again is a hotel breakfast. We will definitely stay again in this type of properties of Hilton.

Birthday Getaway! The suite was perfect and so inviting. The bed was also very comfortable! We were able to enjoy quiet time together in the living room and have a bedtime snack at the table. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come again. Breakfast was very good too.

Comfortable Stay, Clean Rooms and Friendly Staff We had a very comfortable stay. The rooms were clean, breakfast was great and had many varieties. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable since the weather was very bad outside. They also were flexible with late check out
